This is an introduction to the Post-CCU (Post Cardiac Care Unit) section:
Post-CCU has 25 active beds equipped with devices including DC shock, portable monitoring, glucometers, code carts, wheelchairs, pressure relief mattresses, and blood pressure Holter monitors.
Patients in this section include those with diagnoses such as MI (Myocardial Infarction), ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome), U/A (Unstable Angina), acute and chronic heart failure, and endocarditis. Adjacent to the section, there is an echo room where simple echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and exercise stress tests are conducted when necessary for patients.
The staff in this section includes six nurses, four nursing assistants, and two nursing aides.
