Firoozabadi Medical Education Center

According to the Ministry of Health, Zafarghandi, the Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, appointed Dr. Nader Tavakkoli as the President of Iran University of Medical Sciences in a decree.

The decree states:

It is expected that, with attention to the importance of realizing the honorable President's slogans, in line with the implementation of the overall health policies and the goals of the Seventh Development Plan, and with the necessity of participation and respect for all stakeholders, especially esteemed faculty members, health staff, and dear students, you will take steps to elevate the dignity of the academic community, which is the driving force of the country’s development.

• Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Iran University of Medical Sciences
• Head of the Accident and Injury Research Center, Iran University of Medical Sciences
• Chair of the Disciplinary Appeals Committee and Board Member of the Tehran Medical Council
• Deputy of Treatment in the Tehran Province COVID-19 Task Force
• President of the National Emergency Medicine Association
• 6 years of experience as Deputy of Treatment at Iran University of Medical Sciences (2017-2023)
• 5 years of experience as the Director of Shohada Hospital (Shahid Hefte Tir) and Hazrat Rasool Hospital, Tehran
• Member of the Specialized Examination Board (Emergency Medicine)
• Member of the Emergency Medical Services Examination Board
• Senior Advisor to the President of Iran University of Medical Sciences in the field of treatment
• Director of the launch projects for Imam Hossein Hospital in Baharestan, Sardar Soleimani Hospital in Quds City, Shahid Salamat Hospital in Malard, Imam Khomeini Hospital in Shahriar, and Firouzabadi No. 2 Hospital in Rey City
• 6 years of experience as the Head of the Hospital Emergency Department at the Ministry of Health and Special Inspector to the Minister of Health
• Instructor of WHO, EMRO training courses in the Eastern Mediterranean region
• 3 years of experience as Director of Emergency and Disaster Management at Iran University of Medical Sciences
